Vehicle Speed Sensor Test
- Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER R & I under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Check continuity between reed switch terminal and ground terminal shown in illustration. See Fig 1 .
- Ensure continuity pulses on and off 4 times per revolution of speedometer shaft connection. If continuity is not as specified, replace sensor.
