Release System

Release system disengages cruise control in 2 ways: by pressing brake pedal or pushing OFF switch.

By pressing brake pedal, an electrical signal is sent to the servo assembly where the solenoid valves admit atmospheric pressure into the throttle actuator diaphragm, ensuring immediate throttle release. Pushing OFF switch also disengages cruise control.
