Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Place the steering wheel is in the central position and the wheels are straight.
  2. Remove the steering wheel. Refer to WHEEL, STEERING, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Release the lever (1) and remove the steering column lower cover bolts (2).
  4. Remove the lower steering column cover (3).

  5. Release the retainers (1b) and remove the side panel (1a).
  6. Remove the upper steering column cover screws.

  7. Release the retaining clips (1) for the dust cover for the steering column upper trim.

  8. Release and remove the upper steering column cover (1).
