Charging System (Service Information): Generator: Installation: 2.0L

1. Install the generator to the engine block. Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 ft. lbs.).
2. Install the positive cable to the rear of the generator stud. Tighten the nut to 4 N.m (36 In. lbs.).
3. Connect the field generator harness connector.

4. Install the accessory drive belt. Refer to BELT, SERPENTINE, INSTALLATION .
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
6. Install the engine cover.
