Engine Idle Speed

The PCM adjusts engine idle speed through the electronic throttle bodies based on the following inputs:

• Air Conditioning Signal
• Battery Voltage
• Coolant Temperature
• Engine Speed (Crankshaft Position Sensor)
• Engine Run Time
• Manifold Absolute Pressure
• Mass Airflow Sensor
• Throttle position Sensors and Pedal Value Sensors
• Vehicle distance (Speed)
