Controller Antilock Brake: Removal

  1. Disconnect battery negative cable.
  2. Raise vehicle. (Refer to LUBRICATION & MAINTENANCE/HOISTING - STANDARD PROCEDURE)
  3. Disconnect pump/motor connector from CAB. See Fig 1.

    1 - PUMP/MOTOR CONNECTOR
    2 - CAB MOUNTING SCREWS
  4. Remove four screws securing CAB to HCU half of ICU. See Fig 1. Remove CAB from HCU.
  5. Pull outward on CAB connector lock and disconnect 24-way wiring connector. Remove CAB from vehicle.
