Cable, Shift Interlock: Installation: Installation

Verify that ignition key is in ACC position.

1 - INTERLOCK CABLE
Route the cable into the vehicle.
Install the shift interlock cable (1) to the ignition module.
Install the cable clips to the center HVAC ducts.

Install the lower silencing panel (3).
Install the knee blocker. Refer to KNEEBLOCKER, INSTALLATION .
Route shift interlock cable towards shift mechanism.

Connect interlock cable housing (2) to shift mechanism.
Adjust interlock cable. Refer to ADJUSTMENTS for the appropriate automatic transmission.
Install the center console. Refer to HOUSING, SHIFTER, INSTALLATION .
