Ignition Coil: Removal

  1. Release the fuel pressure, refer to .
  2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  3. Remove the air cleaner assembly, refer to for more information.
  4. Remove the Intake Manifold, refer to for more information.
  5. Unlock and disconnect the electrical connector at the ignition coils. See Fig 1 and Fig 2.

  6. Twist and remove the ignition cables from the ignition coil.
  7. Remove the 4 bolts. See Fig 3.

  8. Remove ignition coil.
