Release Bearing/Slave Cylinder: Installation

  1. Position the slave cylinder/release bearing in the bell housing.
  2. Install the slave cylinder/release bearing bolts (1). Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 in. lbs.).

  3. Install the transmission. See MANUAL - REMOVAL & INSTALLATION article.
  4. Bleed the hydraulic clutch system. See STANDARD PROCEDURE .
