Transmission Throttle Control Adjustment: Ram-50

  1. Ensure engine idle is adjusted correctly. Ensure throttle lever and throttle cable bracket are not bent.
  2. Measure gap between inner cable stopper and cover end with throttle valve fully open. See Fig 1.
  3. If gap is not within 2.05-2.09" (52.1-53.1 mm), adjust inner cable bracket. Tighten cable bracket bolts to 96-112 INCH lbs. (10-14 N.m).
