Installation Procedure

  1. Transfer components as necessary.
  2. GM4182087

    With the aid of an assistant, position the new sunroof module assembly using the studs to align the bolt holes.

  3. Sunroof Module Bolt (2) @ roof - Hand tighten [2x]
  4. Sunroof Module Bolt (1) @ Sunroof Module Assembly - Hand tighten [6x]
    5. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  5. Sunroof Module Bolt (2) @ Roof - Install and tighten [2X] 10 N.m (89 lb in)
  6. Sunroof Module Bolt (1) @Roof - Install and tighten [6X] 10 N.m (89 lb in)
  7. GM4182082

    Drain Hose (1) @ Sunroof Module Assembly - Install

  8. Electrical Connector @ Sunroof Window Motor - Install
  9. Electrical Harness @ Sunroof Module Assembly - Install
  10. Sunroof/Sunshade Motor Initialization (New Motor) Sunroof/Sunshade Motor Initialization (Existing Motor) 
  11. Headlining Trim Panel - Install - Headlining Trim Panel Replacement
