Installation Procedure

  1. Using a flat bladed tool, release the ECM bracket retainer. Slide the ECM and bracket assembly to the battery tray.

  2. Engine Control Module (2) - Install
    3. CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution

  3. Engine Control Module Bracket Nut (1) - Install and tighten [4x] 4.7N.m (42 lb in)
  4. Engine Control Module Electrical Connector (1) - Connect

  5. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  6. If replacing the engine control module, reprogram the module. Control Module References
