Installation Procedure

- Install the instrument panel assembly on the vehicle.
- Install the instrument panel screw (1) behind the I/P of the driver side and tighten to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
- Install the instrument panel screws (3) and tighten to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
- Install the instrument panel bolts (2) and tighten to 5 N.m (44 lb in).
- Install the instrument panel defroster grille (1).
- Install both front speakers. Refer to Radio Front Speaker Replacement .
- Connect the passenger airbag module electrical connector.
- Install the instrument panel bolts (1) and tighten to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).
- Install the passenger airbag module bracket bolts (2) and tighten to 11.5 N.m (8 lb ft).
- Install the steering column and tighten the nuts (1) to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Install the steering column opening filler. Refer to Steering Column Opening Filler Replacement .
- Install the instrument panel compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement .
- Install both instrument panel outer trim covers. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement .
- Install the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .
- Install the steering column lower trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Lower Trim Cover Replacement .
- Install the heater and air conditioning control. Refer to Heater and Air Conditioning Control Replacement (Left Hand Drive) , Heater and Air Conditioning Control Replacement (Right Hand Drive) .
- Install the radio assembly. Refer to Radio Replacement .
- Install the floor console assembly. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement .
- Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
