Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 GMC Safari and 2004 Chevrolet Astro. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the headlamp bulbs.
  2. Connect the headlamp electrical connectors.
  3. Install the headlamp assembly.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the bolts in order to retain the composite headlamp.

    Tighten:  Tighten the composite headlamp bolts to 12.5 N.m (110 lb in).

  5. Install the corner capsule.
  6. Install the corner capsule screw.

    Tighten:  Tighten the corner capsule screw to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

  7. Close the hood.
