Installation Procedure

Install the engine lift hook.
Install the generator bracket to the engine.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Install the generator bracket bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
Install the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement (3.4L) or Generator Replacement (3.8L) .
Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure .
