Rear Side Door Actuator Control Module (RSDACM)
The Rear Side Door Actuator Control Module (RSDACM) is located behind Power Sliding Door (PSD) assembly, inside right rear quarter panel. The RSDACM monitors inputs from PSD on/off switch, Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR), PSD open/close switches in overhead console and "B" pillar and Park position of automatic transaxle shifter.
The RSDACM determines PSD position through sliding door lock. The sliding door lock will signal as PSD moves from ajar position to fully closed position. The optical sensor informs RSDACM of PSD's exact position during its travel.
The RSDACM cannot retain memory during a power loss. If any of the following conditions occurred, memory will be erased:
- Disconnected battery.
- Low or dead battery.
- PSD inoperative.
- Removed or blown PWR SEAT/PSD circuit breaker in fuse block.
- Removed or blown IGN 1 fuse in fuse block.
- Removed or blown RADIO fuse in underhood electrical center.
- Removed or blown B/U LAMP fuse in underhood electrical center.
- Exiting PSD diagnostics.
