Cruise Control Release Switch & BRAKELIGHT Switch

NOTE: Cruise control release switch may also be referred to as cruise control brake switch. Care must be taken not to confuse cruise control brake (release) switch with brakelight switch.

Cruise control release and brakelight switches disengage cruise control operation electrically when brake pedal is depressed. This is done by activating the brake cut-out input electrical circuit to cruise control module. Vehicle speed at brake actuation will be stored in system memory.
