Brake Pressure Modulator Valve

The Brake Pressure Modulator (BPM) valve is located in rear storage compartment directly behind driver's seat. The BPM contains a DC motor driver recirculation pump with separate circuits for front and rear brakes.

During an Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) event, BPM transfers fluid from brake calipers back to master cylinder. During a Traction Control System (TCS) event, BPM transfers fluid from master cylinder to rear brake calipers.
