Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the drive belt. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS & DRIVE BELT ROUTING
  2. Install a drain pan under the vehicle.
  3. Remove the power steering cooler hose from the power steering pump.

  4. Remove the power steering pressure hose from the power steering pump.

  5. Remove the power steering pump mounting bolt.
  6. Remove the power steering pump.

  7. Remove the power steering pulley (3) from the power steering pump.
  8. Remove the power steering pump and reservoir (2) from the power steering pump bracket (1).
  9. Remove the retaining clips that attach the reservoir (2) to the pump.
