Cruise Control Cable
Disengage, but DO NOT remove adjustment lock (2) on throttle end of cruise control cable. Adjustment lock is the light-colored button located on throttle body end of cable. See Fig 1 . Cable should move freely in and out of adjuster. Hold throttle at closed position. Pull on cable conduit to take up slack in cable. Press adjustment lock firmly until it is fully seated. Verify that cruise control cable is not holding throttle blade off its stop, after cruise control cable is adjusted.
