Power Seats System Check

  1. Move driver seat rear height switch up and down. Rear of driver seat should move up and down. If seat does not respond as specified, go to REAR OF SEAT DOES NOT MOVE UP & DOWN  under SYMPTOM TESTING.
  2. Move driver seat front height switch up and down. Front of driver seat should move up and down. If seat does not respond as specified, go to FRONT OF SEAT DOES NOT MOVE UP & DOWN under SYMPTOM TESTING.
  3. Move driver seat switch forward and back. Entire driver seat should move forward and back. If seat does not respond as specified, go to ENTIRE SEAT DOES NOT MOVE FORWARD OR BACK  under SYMPTOM TESTING.
  4. Move driver seat recline switch forward and back. Entire driver seat seatback should move forward and back. If seat does not respond as specified, go to SEAT BACK DOES NOT RECLINE FORWARD OR BACK (LEFT SEAT/RIGHT SEAT) or ALL POWER SEAT FUNCTIONS ON ONE SIDE ARE INOPERATIVE  under SYMPTOM TESTING.
  5. Move passenger seat rear height switch up and down. Rear of passenger seat should move up and down. If seat does not respond as specified, go to REAR OF SEAT DOES NOT MOVE UP & DOWN  under SYMPTOM TESTING.
  6. Move passenger seat front height switch up and down. Front of passenger seat should move up and down. If seat does not respond as specified, go to FRONT OF SEAT DOES NOT MOVE UP & DOWN  under SYMPTOM TESTING.
  7. Move passenger seat switch forward and back. Entire passenger seat should move forward and back. If seat does not respond as specified, go to ENTIRE SEAT DOES NOT MOVE FORWARD OR BACK  under SYMPTOM TESTING.
  8. Move passenger seat recline switch forward and back. Entire passenger seat seatback should move forward and back. If seat does not respond as specified, go to SEAT BACK DOES NOT RECLINE FORWARD OR BACK (LEFT SEAT)  , or SEAT BACK DOES NOT RECLINE FORWARD OR BACK (RIGHT SEAT) under SYMPTOM TESTING.
