UTD System Arming Check

  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position and open driver's door. SECURITY indicator should flash. If not, see THEFT DETERRENT MODULE TEST. Check module connector terminals "D", "N", "K", "A", "J" and "G".
  2. With left door open, move left front door lock switch to lock position. SECURITY indicator should remain on. If not, see THEFT DETERRENT MODULE TEST. Check module connector terminals "G", "M" and "H".
  3. Close and lock left door. Unlock left door using inside lock release. SECURITY indicator should stay on steady for 5 seconds, then go out. If not, see THEFT DETERRENT MODULE TEST. Check module connector terminal "J".
  4. Open left door. Horns and exterior lights should go on and off once a second for 2-4 minutes. If not, see THEFT DETERRENT RELAY TEST.
