Removal (Front)

  1. Tape glass in full-up position.
  2. Remove trim panel. See DOOR TRIM PANEL  . Remove water deflector. See WATER DEFLECTOR  .
  3. Remove inner panel cam (Seville, front door only). See FRONT DOOR INNER PANEL CAM  .
  4. Remove rivets using a 6.3 mm (1/4") drill bit.
  5. Disconnect wire connector from power window motor.
    6. CAUTION: If power window motor removal from the regulator is required. See WINDOW MOTOR  . The regulator lift arm is under tension from the counterbalance spring and can cause personal injury if the sector gear is not locked in position.
  6. Remove window regulator through access hole in inner panel.
