Note On Intermittents
Each diagnostic flow chart is accompanied by a circuit schematic for diagnostic reference. For additional circuit reference, see the wiring diagram associated with the code that is set, see WIRING DIAGRAMS in BODY COMPUTER MODULES article. Check for loose connectors, poor wire splices and loose or dirty terminals.
NOTE:
The following step numbers refer to circled numbers on flow chart, see Fig 1
.
- If no series 200 codes such as Code No. L202 through Code No. L210 are set, then each code should be diagnosed with the chart associated with each code that is set.
- If only one series 200 code is set and is current, then use the code for the particular series 200 code that is set If the codes are history, see NOTE ON INTERMITTENTS .
- If Code No. L110 and all of the series 200 codes are set this indicates that the data circuit is shorted to ground or voltage. LIGHTING CHART A-2 should be used to diagnose this problem.
- These combinations of codes will be set if there is an OSM power supply problem. CHART A-3 , CHART A-4 and CHART A-5 should be used to help diagnose these conditions based on which codes are set.

- These codes indicate a problem with OSM addressing. CHART B-1 , CHART B-2 , CHART B-3 and CHART B-4A should be used to diagnose these codes.
