Front Toothed Sensor Ring: Notes

The front toothed sensor ring is an integral part of the outer CV (constant velocity) joints on the drive axles. The sensor ring is accessible for inspection by raising the car. If sensor ring replacement is required, the entire drive axle assembly must be replaced. See AXLE SHAFTS -- ALLANTE article for replacement procedures.
