Removal Procedure

Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (3.6L LGX) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (2.0L LTG)
Remove the appropriate engine control module cover:
- For LTG engine, refer to Engine Control Module Replacement .
- For LGX engine, refer to Engine Control Module Replacement .

Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block Cover (1) - Remove
Unlock the retaining tabs.

Remove the 2 body wiring harness nuts (1)
Body Wiring Harness (3) @ Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block - Remove
Battery Positive Cable Nut (2) - Loosen

NOTE:
The battery distribution engine compartment fuse block could also be installed lengthways. The removal and installation procedure remains the same.

Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block (1) - Remove
Disconnect the electrical connectors.
Unlock the retaining tabs.
