NOTE: For vehicle body code identification, see GENERAL MOTORS BODY IDENTIFICATION TABLE in INTRODUCTION article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE section. X55 Transaxle identification plate is attached to transaxle case. See Fig 1 . Transaxle model is printed on the service parts identification label located inside vehicle trunk.
