Removal & Installation
- Remove steering wheel, SIR coil assembly (if equipped), turn signal switch and lock cylinder. Remove dimmer and ignition switches. Remove column cover from lock housing (if equipped). Disconnect cruise control switch connector (if equipped) near multifunction switch.
- Disconnect multifunction switch connector. Set multifunction switch lever in OFF position (centered), grasp lever firmly and pull straight out away from column to remove lever. Unscrew and remove tilt lever (if equipped). Remove lock housing screws. Remove lock housing from column. See Figure -Figure . To install, reverse removal procedure.
