Abs Control Module -J104-/Abs Hydraulic Unit -N55-, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

• The hydraulic unit is prefilled. Only remove the plugs on the hydraulic unit if the corresponding brake line is installed, so that sufficient filling and bleeding is guaranteed.
• When installing the hydraulic unit, make sure the rubber bushing is not pushed out of the bracket

-- Position the brake lines using the Wrench - Assembly Tool:V.A.G 1410/8  in sequence -1- to -6-.

-- Tighten the brake lines in the sequence -1- to -6-.

-- Remove the Brake Pedal Actuator:V.A.G 1869/2  .

-- Refer to Hydraulic System, Bleeding .

If the ABS Control Module -J104- was replaced, then the test plan for replacing the control module must be completed.

-- Complete the "Control module, replacing" function with the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to Diagnostic Entries .
