Rear Window, Installing
-- Installation Instructions. Refer to BONDED WINDOW GLASS INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS .
-- Prepare the undamaged window glass for installing. Refer to UNDAMAGED WINDOW GLASS, PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION .
-- Prepare the new window glass for installation. Refer to NEW WINDOW GLASS, PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION .
-- Prepare the body flange for installation. Refer to BODY FLANGE, PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION .
-- Insert the rear window into the window opening using suction lifters.
CAUTION:
- The window glass must be installed within 15 minutes or the adhesive sealant will not bond correctly.
- The rear window must be installed centered to the rear window wiper arm.
-- Center the window glass at the sides.
- Distance from the window edge to the roof frame Rear Window.
- Secure the window glass from sliding out with adhesive tape.
NOTE:
Additional adhesive tape for securing the rear window is not needed if the new window has locking pins on the top window edge.
-- Observe the minimum curing time. Refer to MINIMUM CURING TIME FOR BONDED WINDOWS .
