Telephone Transceiver -R36-

Special tools and workshop equipment required

The telephone transceiver is located under the right front seat.

-- Turn off all electrical consumers.

-- Remove the key.

-- If control module is replaced, select "Replacement" function for appropriate control module in "Guided Fault Finding".

Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

Removing

-- Remove the right front seat. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Fold back the floor covering. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Disengage cover of E-box -2- and open the E-box -1-.

The telephone transceiver is only wedged into the electronics box.

-- Pry the telephone transceiver -5- out of the E-box -4-.

Only with MOST-BUS

-- Disconnect the connector -2-.

-- Connect the VAS 6223/9 -1- to the connector for the MOST-Bus -2-.

-- Disconnect the connector -3-.

-- Disconnect Bluetooth antenna -R152- -1-.

Installing

-- Install in reverse order of removal.

-- Adapt Bluetooth connection between the telephone transceiver and telephone handset -R36- /cell phone -R54-.
