Reading Measuring Value Block: Notes

NOTE: Use an assistant to perform the following test. Check for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) after performing reading measuring value block.
  1. Connect Scan Tool (VAG 1551) to Data Link Connector (DLC) located under left side of instrument panel. Input address word 01, ENGINE CONTROL MODULE. Press right arrow button until SELECT FUNCTION XX appears in display. Press buttons "0" and "8" to select READ MEASURING VALUE BLOCK function. Press "Q" button to confirm input.
  2. ENTER DISPLAY GROUP NUMBER XXX should be displayed. Start engine and run at idle speed and enter code "066" Press right arrow button to scroll through value block (display group) numbers. Press "Q" button to confirm input. Measuring value block "066" has 4 measuring channels available.
