Engine Identification

NOTE: For engine repair procedures not covered in this article, see ENGINE OVERHAUL PROCEDURES - GENERAL INFORMATION article in the GENERAL INFORMATION section.

Engine can be identified by AAH stamped on top front of cylinder block, between right cylinder head and water pump. See Fig 1 . Serial number is next to engine identification code.
