Secondary HO2S (Sensor 2) Component Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
• • Secondary HO2S (Sensor 2) 4P connector: disconnected
• Procedure
• • Perform the inspection according to the following table.

	Sensor internal circuit inspection	OFF		About 5.0 - 6.2 Ohm(at room temperature)

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem with the secondary HO2S (Sensor 2).

SO2HT Shorted Wire Inspection 

NOTICE: 

Before disconnecting the PCM connector, jump the SCS line with the HDS, and wait more than 1 minute.

Test Procedure 

• Preparation
• • Secondary HO2S (Sensor 2) 4P connector: disconnected
  • PCM connector E (114P): disconnected
• Procedure
• • Perform the inspection according to the following table.

    Refer to the Open/Shorted Wire Inspection Description for the method to inspect the shorted circuit below, then start to inspect according to circumstances.

Results 

• If it is abnormal, there is a problem in the circuit.

PCM Inspection 

Test Procedure 

• If the other inspection item(s) indicated a normal condition, then it is determined that the remaining PCM is the cause.

Results 

• There is a problem with the PCM.
