Injector Base Removal and Installation: Removal
- Relieve the fuel pressure (see
FUEL PRESSURE RELIEVING
).
- Remove the power steering (P/S) pump and P/S hose bracket (see step 8 in CYLINDER HEAD REMOVAL
).
- Remove the intake manifold (see REMOVAL
).
- Remove the injectors (see
INJECTOR REPLACEMENT
).
- Remove the harness bracket mount bolt (A) and disconnect the knock sensor connector (B).

- Remove the injector base mount bolts/nuts (A), then remove the front injector base (B) and rear injector base (C).
