TCS Indicator Light Remains On, But Does Not Flash Trouble Codes
- Check ECU/CRUISE CONTROL fuse (15-amp) in underdash fuse/relay block. See Figure . If fuse is okay, go to next step. Replace fuse if blown, and retest system.
- Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between ground and TCS control unit 20-pin connector terminal No. 1 (Black/Yellow wire). See Figure . If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, repair open in Black/Yellow wire between ECU/CRUISE CONTROL fuse and TCS control unit 20-pin connector terminal No. 1. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect TCS control unit 20-pin connector. Turn ignition on. If TCS indicator light comes on, go to next step.If TCS indicator light does not come on, check for poor connection at TCS control unit. See Figure . If connection is okay, replace TCS control unit.
- Repair short to ground in Gray/Black wire(s) between gauge assembly 16-pin connector terminal No. 8 and TCS control unit 14-pin connector terminal No. 2, or 20-pin connector terminal No. 17. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
