One Or Both Mirrors Inoperative

  1. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Using a voltmeter, check for battery voltage between 10-pin connector terminal No. 9 (Yellow/Black wire) and ground. See Figure . If battery voltage does not exist, check for blown fuse No. 8. Fuse No. 8 is located in under-dash fuse/relay box. If fuse is okay, check for open in Yellow/Black wire. If battery voltage exists, go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Using an ohmmeter, check continuity between 10-pin connector terminal No. 10 (Black wire) and ground. If no continuity exists, check for open in Black wire to ground.
